Detailed review of the design and screen of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro

Redmi Note 8 Pro design

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is not an alternative, it is complete and upgraded from the Redmi Note 7 Pro. Our phone uses a tough two-sided Gorilla Glass 5 design. The chassis is made from plastic, though not as luxurious and sturdy as metal but plastic frame helps prevent the machine from being distorted when dropped, more shock resistant. At the same time, Xiaomi also made this plastic frame very seamless with the glass, making us feel like the entire Redmi Note 8 Pro is made from glass, very sleek and beautiful.

If you are someone who likes phones a little bit when holding hands, then go to the team of Redmi Note 8 Pro. The phone is quite heavy with a weight of 200 grams. That’s why when holding the phone we feel very solid, but it will be a bit tired if you hold it for too long. The cause of the heavy weight is because the Note 8 Pro has a battery capacity of up to 4500 mAh.

Because it’s mostly made of glass, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is quite slippery. However, Xiaomi has designed the ergonomic edges to perfectly fit in the user’s hands. So if your hand is not too small, the grip is still very good and can be used with one hand.

The camera cluster is the most impressive detail on the back. Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 4-camera cluster including 3 vertical cameras and 1 camera located directly below the LED flash. The camera cluster is long and protruding quite “cool”. The fingerprint reader is also in the cluster of 3 main cameras. Thanks to this design you can easily find the fingerprint sensor by raising your finger up a bit high. In general, the camera cluster is beautiful, simple, instead of arranging 4 cameras in the square shape of some other brands.

The front of the Redmi Note 8 Pro is still a “water drop” screen but the screen border is thinner. The thin bezel has made it possible for the Redmi Note 8 Pro to feature a larger screen than its predecessor despite its almost constant size. Compared to rivals in the price range, the screen border of the Redmi Note 8 is significantly thinner.

The version in the article is gray, which Xiaomi calls Mineral Gray. This gray color is quite strong, suitable for shiny hard surface and also quite unique when placed next to today’s smartphones. In addition, Redmi Note 8 Pro also has two other colors with a very “calling” name: Pearl White and Deep Forest.

Redmi Note 8 Pro screen

Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 6.53-inch screen with Full HD + 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution, 19.5: 9 aspect ratio LCD technology. This screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5 and supports HDR. This is a rare feature in the budget segment. Redmi Note 8 Pro is the only product in the segment below 6 million equipped with HDR display.

The Redmi Note 8 Pro screen is of very good quality with its strong point of brightness and high contrast. In automatic mode, the maximum brightness is up to 640 nits, more than enough for you to use the machine outdoors. The HDR screen offers great contrast, giving it a very vivid feel. If there is a minus point, that is the color when the color of the Note 8 Pro screen is slightly inclined to cold tones, which means it is blue. However most phones are yellow or blue, so this is completely acceptable.

Conclude

The Redmi Note 8 Pro is a big screen phone, with a high-end design made from glass, unique colors, and a hand-held grip. Once again, the Redmi Note 8 Pro is aimed at men, with a strong, solid design language with Gorilla Glass 5. Combining excellent performance and 64MP camera, this will be a smartphone. Suitable for technology-loving young people.
